1- Ask two friend to hit two different birdy and you'll have to return them without fail. Go until you die.

2- Attach a bunch of tires around you and play.

3- Wrap yourself with meats and ask the ruthless dog to chase you.

4- Just keep playing. You can't level up as fast as in video games.

lol if only that were true that we could.

For you try to do some fast feet excercises this way you will have that working for you when you play as well as if you can practice some footwork. the time that you do get to be on the court play some games as well as do some drills this way you will have your technique and also have the gameplay. Best of luck in the tourny.

what normally is the fastest helper for me when ive been off badmitnon for a while is watching pro badminton games.

I know this isnt speed or endurance, but i felt I could be of help anyway.

(btw, i'm guessing ur clears and other basic shots are alright and reliable, otherwise thats what to focus on.)

Practice footwork. Move to the back then up, corner to corner, etc. Then speed up your pace once you got it all down.

in diagrams 1 means left foot 2 means right foot (this is if you were looking down at your feet ok) and the solid line is a line im refering to ignore the dots they just need to be there to keep stuff in line so dont worry about the dots.

alright thats no problem, so here are some basic ones there called fast feet excercises and you do them for 30 seconds all out then rest for 30 seconds then do the next one for 30 and rest etc and then can take a 2 min break and repeat the whole cycle.

1.) find a line and with both feet moving together hop back and forth across the line.

    ....1....2.... ............. .....1....2....
    __________ ________ ___________ etc
    ................ ....1....2... ................

2.) same as the other one except your going to do it side to side.

    .... | ... . | . .. ... | ..
    .... | ..... | . .. ... | ..
    1 2 | ... . |1 2 1 2 | ..
    .... | ... . | . .. ... | ..
    ... | ... . | . .. ... | ..

3.) your going to alternate between feet so your going to start left foot on top and right on the bottom then jump and switch them so that the right foot is on top and left on the bottom and then again.

    ...1........... ............2... ....1..........
    __________ ___________ __________
    ..........2..... ...1........... ...........2...

4.) next one is your going to move your feet 4 times so you can start with left foot and right foot on the line then move left up then your going to move your right foot up while keeping your left foot up and then your going to take a step back with your left while your right foot is still forward and then move your right foot back without moving your left. then you move your left forward and basically repeat the whole thing.

    start step 1 step 2 step 3 step 4
    .............. ....1........ ....1.....2... ........2... ...............
    __1__2___ _____2__ _________ ________ _________
    ............... ............. ............... ....1....... .....1....2...

after step 4 do step 1 except your right foot wont be on the line.

5.) just going to do a simple legs open and close so you start with them a little bit apart then jump and bring them together then jump and bring them apart so when you land they eoither land apart or together not to far apart though.

6.) do a side lunge so you will start feet together hop and lunge to your right and then push up land feet together and then hop and lunge land to your left so your opening up lunges towards the side. kinda liek in a game if you were moving to the sides of the court. if that makes sense.

7.) fast feet so basically on the spot your going to move your feet as fast as you can so you lift up and down not jumping but like just moving your feet as fast as you can staying on the balls of your feet.

there are other ones but those are some simple ones that should get the job done, im sure you can search the internet and find many more examples and probally better explinations. hope that it helps somewhat atleast.

    speed

Do some bollywood dance before your opponents. That'll slow them down. They'll lie down with legs up.:D
Regular footwork and drills should help. No short cuts. Not even fast forwarding videos.
