I was thinking how cool it would if I could travel around the world visiting people from BC and play badminton with them! Anyone else feel like doing that??? I know that we all have different skill levels, but it would be good to learn or teach some new techniques to fellow BCers!:)

What made me write this thread was that I've seen youtube vids of Dinkalot half smashing and wonder to myself if i can take his full smash! Prolly not, but it would be awesome to find out!

Since I am most likely too poor to do that, if anyone comes to Christchurch New Zealand, send me a post and we can have a game!:):D:D

I tried to do a search to see if such a thread exists, but got the following:eek:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 20971520 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 35 bytes) in /home/kwun/www/forums/search.php on line 1050

I've been able to meet and play with a number of BCers in Western Canada... will be doing it again tonight at VRC.

There is good odds I'll be able to meet Dinkalot later this year as we are planning a faily trip down that way.

That would be scary having us play doubles together. :D

I was able to travel to Canada (Vancouver and Montreal) to meet some local BC/BFers. Great experience and a lot of fun, even though everyone else is at least 5 times better than me. :D

Mixing and rotating makes playing with new people more fun. I prefer close games than owning or being owned by someone.

Wow thats you Dinkalot? You have so much power in your half-smashes, yet the technique to it looks so off. X_X Excuse me for saying. But for some your body wasn't even turned sideways, and the whole process looks very lazy. Not to say your not a great player, just saying what I think.

I didn't expect you to be so buff. =]

I've once mentioned this similar idea in my introduction thread, but i guess it's preety hard to really gather the members. All we can do is probably arrange a meeting or make a date if anyone's coming.Well..i'll keep waiting though..

I enjoyed playing with numerous BC members from different countries. However the fun is at my expense coz i got slaughtered most of the time. But it is always fun to meet new people and make new friends.

i have played against some of the members from alberta not to many though just a few 2 or 3 but yeah i would like to play people from all over the world if the oppertunity arose if some peopel were on vacation and all that. I know the skill level on the forum ranges but it would be nice to get in some matches with others on here.
