hi everyone! just a question i was wondering about really.... im finding that my serve is inconsistent. when you serve where do you find the FEATHERS of your shuttle pointing? do u face them different ways to play different types of spinning services? thanks, aman
generally when i serve backhand the cork is facing my belly button and the feathers are facing out towards the net, you can vary it so change the angle of that to alter your swerve as long as you hit the cork first. for singles serve well you hold it by the cork and then drop/throw it outinfront of you and strike it but im guess you were refering to backhand more?
Well when I'm doing a single's long serve, I point it down. But even if I want to serve it short, I still point it down so my opponent doesn't know what I'm diong and at last minute I point it towards the racket bed so I can hit the nylon directly.
isnt hitting the nylon first an illegal form of service? and yes i am referrin to backhand more so than forehand.
Uhm. Hitting the nylon is illegal? Hitting the feather is illegal, so the only thing left to hit is the nylon right...? The bottom part of the birdie is the nylon correct?
