    Hello all,

I'm looking for some feedback from those of you in Canada and specifically Toronto that have used/use the Aeroplane Black EG1130 shuttlecocks in terms of speed.

General consensus for Speed in this climate is 78, however I have been informed that the Aeroplane fly a bit faster than some other brands, and that 77 may be more appropriate. I did find the Chao Pai in 78 to be a bit fast (relative to RSL).

I'm looking at getting a large quantity so any experience(s) you could share would be much appreciated. Feel free to PM me if you prefer.

    Thanks in advance,
    MJ.

    MJ,

Aeroplane Black ? sweeeet.....love this shuttle.

A buddy uses the round-end version and it was fast. Shall confimr what speed he has (likely 78). With the round tip, you can't bend to slow it down :(

you ought to check out the pointy tip version as well.

Note : stay away from Green label. it's terrible...

Sure it's one of the better shuttles (not sure it's the best since that quite subjective), but cheap it is not, that's for sure!!)

I still don't see how you consider Aeroplane cheap. Even in quantity it is more expensive than other brands. My point is don't just make a statement like that if you can't back it up with facts.

if you get them from a domestic supplier they are bound to be expensive.

I bought one tube last week, E1130. I believe it is the green label but near to the bottom of the tube, it says "Black Label".....

AEROPLANE is approved by International Badminton Federation (I.B.F.) as the badminton used in formal international tournaments.

IBF approval means that they paid some donation to IBF and IBF is OK for them to put their logo on the tube. Usually you don't see IBF logo on a Yonex AS50 tube. Does that mean they are not good for international matches?

A fair comparison is under "the SAME QUATITY" of ordering with "SAME SOURCE". If you have a special way to order 10,000 tubes of Aeroplane from a family friend's stock in CHN, it's not fair to compare with say, 25 tubes of order from a local gym.

Under same (or close enough) conditions, I will say Aeroplane is kinda expensive, even if in CHN market. You can check www.bbesports.com, and Aeroplane is much more expensive than most of other local brands. ;)

actually you're right, i was inquring from China, and they have two kinds. they have a separate model for export only and one for domestic sale only.

i would only come to believe that the export model is better in quality because it costs more than the domestic tubes.

It is quite true. Only buy those with quality for export markets.

Some of our customers bought Aeroplane shuttlecocks from some individuals who brought them in from China local market and the quality is terrible. Even some Hong Kong people carried some Aeroplane shuttles in while they came back from Hong Kong, the quality is still no good compared to those directly imported from the manufacturer.

i had my friend brought back 20 tubes from Shanghai, and i bought another 10 tubes locally. both speed 77, and i found them to be similar in terms of durability and flight stability. but those from China flies faster.

Where do you guys buy the aeroplane blacks in the US? I prefer to buy domestically, but a lot of the online stores are unfortunately sold out of the black ones.
