Men's MAS v IND : Comfortable for MAS, but IND could steal a point or 2 in MS TPE v JPN : TPE actually has both the singles and doubles to upset JPN, but odds are for JPN to win this tie KOR v HKG : Comfortable for KOR THA v SIN : Boonsak with doubles power should see them through, the other two singles also favour THA (or at least 50-50). Odds on for THA Women's KOR v IND : Comfortable for KOR MAS v SIN : MAS is stronger is all departments, but only just slightly stronger. TPE v JPN : TPE could take both WS1 (Cheng) and WD1 (Cheng/Chien). But they will find it hard to find another point. Close. HKG v THA : Wang Chen and Yippy are almost sure points. But THA can take the 2 doubles. As in the tie between HKG and TPE, this could go to WS3. 50-50.
Men's Team: Malaysia vs India -- 3-0 for Malaysia, unless Hafiz starts to daydream again Chinese-Taipei vs Japan -- interesting ties in the doubles, but, Japan's 3 singles should power them ahead. Korea vs Hong Kong -- a breeze for Korea and bye2 to Hong Kong. Thailand vs Singapore -- Boonsak Ponsana vs Kendrick Lee is 50-50, but, the other ties should go Thailand's way, especially with Hendri Kurniawan Saputra not competing this time round.
I think MAS Women's team will be toppled down by SIN. 1st WS will be taken by MAS, but 3 more matches will be gotten by SIN, 2nd WS, 1st WD, and 3rd WS..., remember in SEA Games, SIN also beat MAS Women's team....
i believe malaysia can win today.. come on i think malaysia team are going to field strong player// MEN TEAM LEE CHONG WEI KOO KIEN KEAT-TAN BOON HEONG WONG CHOONG HANN CHOONG TAN FOOK-LEE WAN WAH MOHD HAFIZ HASHIM WOMEN TEAM WONG MEW CHOO CHIN EEI HUI - WONG PEI TTY JULIA WONG PEI XIAN LIM PEK SIAH-HAW CHIOU HWEE LYDIA CHEAH LI-YA
I agreed with you. WMC is not at her full fitness level. Xin AY may upset her. The 1st WD pair always failed to deliver when it matter most
Sigh..Hopefully Malaysia can win it.This is a 50-50 match. We really can't predict but i really hope Malaysia make it.
I see MAS fans are approaching the matches with some apprehension. Being heavy favourites never sits well with MAS teams. It's time the MAS players take ownership of their places on the team (both men and women) and justify their superiority... significantly.
HK pulling out all the stops with WC and Yippy both playing Singles and Doubles today. WC has already won her Singles match easily.
HKG's wome team leads Thailand 2-0 but HKG's men team is 0-2 ( Korea) India's women vs Korea's women team: 1-1 now
