Hi everyone I will order a racket on a website located in the USA and I live in France. Before that the webmaster told me that :

"We also would like to remind you that it is not our responsibility for custom/tax/duty that might be collected upon delivery"

My question is : what can be these "charges" and how much could it be? I mean could it be very expensive?

    Thanks.

    1) it is a barrier to import (econ definition)
    2) it is a way for your government to to protect local store.
    3) it is a way for your government to steal your money a way and you can not do anything about it.

the rate is different for every country. do a search and you will find the rate for france.

Ask the package to be marked as a gift. Most countries do not charge on gifts and on packages under a certain value. (in ireland, <40 Euro. )

all my rackets arrived as gifts.
