    hey guys,;)

just wondering if anyone could help me highlight the differences of these two rackets. The new Arcsaber 7 or Armortec 900 Technique?
    which do you prefer??

i have the AS7 but not sure if it's any better than AT900T coz both have their pros & cons.

    info (if helps);
    i am a mid intermediate player, i play 6 days a week & i am coached.
I attend many competitions & i am a D grader here in NSW Australia.
I am about 178cm in height & 60kg in weight.
I have played badminton for 3 years.

    Thx for all help! :D

    1) ask your coach to see which one suits you better
    2) without knowing your style I assume you are more defensive player.
    3) Arc7 require better echnique while AT900-t is easier to use.
    4) try both out and you will know.

I have both racket. Here's my comment.

As an ArcSaber fan, I do prefer ArcSaber 7 in any possible way but that's me. I find the Arc7 to be lighter and easier to manage on clears and drop. It's like it need absolutely nothing form you to do them properly. ( I've been playing badminton competvely for about 7-8months ) Perhaps it's my style but I draw way more power out of my Arc7 ( BG68ti at 24lbs ) than my At900T ( BG65ti at 22lbs ) I was originally using AT900T for a while when my NS7k ( bg68ti at 22lbs ) died on me. When I finally got my Arc7 ( about a month after At900T ) I simply fell in love with it and in the nearest 3 weeks after, I got another one as a back up. At900T is now sitting in my room as my backup's backup and soon, I'll get Arc10 ( matter of collection more than usage xD ) to replace at900t's spot. ( I usually bring 3 rackets with me....being the 2 Arc7 and 1 At900t) So yeah, I really love ArcSaber 7 from the frame to the shaft. It looks killer, works well with me and definitely worth a try. At900T...well...it's more expensive...and it's more "common" =p. Guess I like being special...

Side note - My performance difference might come from the mind tho. I like the name ArcSaber, like number 7, like the design and I like being special. =P Maybeeee?

Besides, no one can suggest the best racket for you. It all depends on HOW you play and HOW you feel with it. My first racket ( Ti-5 with bg65 at 20lbs ), second ( Black Knight Dynamo with bg65 at 20lbs), third ( for a short while, Carlton Smash with original string....cheap racket....), forth ( Nanospeed 7000 with bg65 20lbs, bg65 22lbs, nbg95 24lbs, bg68ti 22lbs ), fifth ( At900T bg 68ti 22lbs, bg65ti 22lbs ) and finally ( ArcSaber 7 bg68ti 24lbs)

And I simply fell in love with Arc7.

    im also around 180cm 140lbs D player
but im not too much of a smasher, and i...just sold my arcsaber to get a at900t...
ive used at700 for years and i just simply couldnt get used to the arcsaber, unable to draw any power from it...
and....my at900t plays very similar to at700, but the 900t just looks sooo sicckkkK! haha

Huh? Me umm. haahah! Ok jumped in!

Arc7 is good if you have the quickness to snap, that's where the power kicks in.

    Arcsaber 7 vs Armortec 900

    my first post~

    ta-da!

so, im so of gettin into more deeper into badminton, i've been playing for maybe half a year now with a crappy racket and i was planning to buy a good new one. I feel like i like offensive racket more with Normal Stiffness and good light weight on it and I also like smashing too.

my top choices were the Arcsaber 7 and armortec 900
I know that Armortec has 2 diffrent versions and i kinda like the power one, but i was wondering was the power armortec a bit heavier?

    and recommendations?

i demod both the armortec 900s and the arcsabre, the arcsabre did feel lighter nd was great in flat fast rallys and around the net, but i found the 900 power was just too good! loads of power and the control was pretty good once i strung the racket at around 29lbs! I used a ns7000 before the 900power and the armorted just felt superior in all areas! i cant recommend the a900 highly enough, its a great racket.

    :D

the techique and power feel the same weight but the power is more head heavy and has a stiffer shaft then the technique, they retail at the same price so i would recommend trying both and finding out which one you prefer, if you wanted to you could then demo the arcsabre and carry out a direct comparison between rackets
