hey I've been playing for a couple of years now and I've gone through 3 nanospeed 9000x's in last last year alone..I'm sick and tired of the frame cracking, I'm looking to buy a new racquet and was thinking of one of the AT 900 series, can anyone tell me if they are DURABLE OR NOT? Are there anyother racquets i should think about??? im alittle more offensive, and lay more singles the doubles.:D

I gone through 3 this year......all broken frame with during minor clashes.
    Strung only at 24lbs...!!!

    1x UK coded
    1x SP coded
    1x CP coded

    Strung by 3 different stringers...!!!

AT900T/P are more durable than Ns9K....just simply for the fact that Ns9K is the weakest racket model I've used/tried...!

    ps- I play 75% double.....level=advance

Latest one broke 2 days ago...

Three in a year? That's strange indeed. I have never cracked one on court for an entire year.

I'm guessing, stringer error if it breaks that easily.

My NS9K-x was in a big crash during a demo day and survived with 2 paint chip. It is still live and kicking. 2 years old already...

poor string is unrelated to using yonex pattern or not.

i appreciate the information but i was kinda hoping for alittle more info about the AT 900 series not how the NS9000x is too fragile(trust me i know)...but thanks anyways.

    Ns9000x

    Hi Showtime,
I have been using NS9K Type:X since it is introduced. My racket was strung with BG80 at 25lbs. Suffered a couple of crashes and have about five to six paints chips :eek:Still surviving today:p. I had used AT900T and also AT900P in 3U G4 category. Technique been more defensive n easier to maneuvre. AT900P been more offensive n powerful.;). Both are headheavy and stiff. Try them and choose one for yrself.:)

my X at 28lbs, still survive many and many crash, just there is a minor smooth crack at the top frame due to big crash with the floor.

Don't have very good and direct comparisons since most of our rackets are not broken as yours. The closest to NS9k may be Power. I had 2 OF and 1 P and they are all in working condition, only had one DF broke possibly due to unlucky hit at 2 o'clock position.

Guys, showtime wants to have your opinion on the AT900 P/T and hopefully suggest to him which one he should try / buy.

Showtime, if you're playing more singles, you should try out the Power first, it's all out powerful
The Techinque is slightly less powerful but net play is very accurate.

As for the durability, I can only speak for the AT900T, I've got 2 of them and they're still going strong.

i would strongly recommended AT900power (JP) for its durablity because so far i had several (big& small) crash (>5times) with my partner's racket, and its survive & to my suprise no chip can b observe !!!!

mine is 3ug5 (jp) a powerful & durable racket! UP

oh forgot to say how I play... I'm that fast, but i try to make my points with a good smash, drops and a good control. My smash recuperation is good so my defence is quiet oké... I don't play double that much, mostly single tournaments.
I would think for me AT 900P would be the best, but i don't know quiet good what the 800's and 700 can mean for me instead of 900 P
