After a good showing yesterday, expect lots of casualties for Team INA today

    Men's Singles
10:00am Andre Kurniawan Tedjono [8] vs Alamsyah Yunus -- Djarum vs Pelatnas and Djarum shall prevail.

11:15am Tommy Sugiarto vs Kendrick Lee Yen Hui [5] -- a tough match for Tommy, but, Kendrick is not so convincing yesterday.

12:05pm Andreas Adityawarman vs Mohd Roslin Hashim [7] -- ditto for Andreas.

12:30pm Taufik Akbar Hidayat vs Dicky Palyama [16] -- this Taufik has surprised us before and he could probably score another upset?

12:30pm Endra Kurniawan vs Lee Hyun Il [2] -- only the brave will predict a win for Endra.

    Women's Doubles
12:55pm Aki Akao/Tomomi Matsuda [6] vs Jo Novita/Greysia Polii -- this will be a tough match against the Japanese pair, and I hope Jo/Grace can win! The last time they met, it was an extremely long match, lasting 3 sets and 107 mins in the French Open QF

    1:20pm Jiang Yanmei/Li Yujia [3] vs Lita Nurlita/Nitya Krishinda -- no chance for Lita/Nitya.

1:45pm Heather Olver/Liza Smith vs Rani Mundiasti/Endang Nursugianti [8] -- Rani/Endang have yet to convince me and they need at least a QF spot here to strengthen their Olympic hopes.

    Men's Doubles
2:35pm Fang Chieh-Min/Lee Sheng-Mu vs Fran Kurniawan/Rendra Wijaya -- a chance for Fran/Rendra to enter the QF and extend their unbeaten run for the year. Fang/Lee have been on a steady rise and they will be a tough nut to crack

3:00pm Rian Sukmawan/Yonathan Suryatama Dasuki vs Vitalij Durkin/Alexander Nikolaenko -- it was a good result for Rian/Yoke yesterday and they have a chance of making it 2 out of 2 today.

    Women's Singles
4:40pm Eriko Hirose [3] vs Maria Kristin Yulianti -- bye2 Maria. Her progress will be stopped today.

    Mixed Doubles
5:55pm He Hanbin/Yu Yang [1] vs Tantowi Ahmad/Yulianti -- He/Yu will definitely be China's no 1 XD pair in the near future. Towi/Yuli will also be handed a huge responsibility by the INA squad. So, they better get used to the tough encounter starting from today.

5:55pm Mohd Rijal/Greysia Polii vs Robin Middleton/Liza Smith -- Rijal/Grace also better star winning some titles this year! They have a tricky tie today against the English pair who beat Anggun/Endang yesterday.

Yup, Jo/Greysia must collect many points to accompany Vita/Lilyana in Beijing Games as their WR is 24 now. And Rani/Endang really need a breakthrough to improve their stagnant performance.

There's one interesting WS match today, Jiang Yanjiao vs Jun Jae Youn. Although Jiang didn't get any seeding here, she's still potential to overcome Jun this time.

I agree with your predictions for today almost in everything, badMania. I just think that Fran-Rendra will win today. Maybe in rubber sets, but they will win... That's my prediction. :p I think Fran-Rendra will only loose to Lee-Jung tomorrow, but they won't loose today... :D

By right, our MD should win. But, Fang/Lee have beaten AG/Joko in Korea Open 2008 and they have improved a lot as I have witnessed it too. So, it will be a tough fight.
