Does anyone no of any good sports shops (not on-line retailers) in the north west of England? Ideally near Manchester / Bolton / Bury area. I want to buy some new shoes, but need to try them on first - hence on-line is a waste of time in this case. Most high street stores do not sell decent badminton shoes - and I have tried lots of shops - including shops specialising in sports footwear!
hi there - i too struggle for shops in NW england - i usually end up buying my trainers from central sports or badmintondiscount.com the only store that i've found that stocks trainers is a local store in Wrea Green near where i live - they have a fairly good stock of some of the yonex and hi-tec shoes.. apart from that - nada... Cramp's Sports is located in Cheadle Hulme, which is about a 20min train ride + 15mins walking from Manchester Picadilly. www.crampsports.com They have a number of shoes brands - yonex, wilson, prince, tactic, hi-tec etc.
