    Hi Guys,
I think Redleaf sports shop at No:143, JinshaJiang Lu is a very reasonable shop to buy yr Chao Pai products. Ms Chen is also a member of redleaf badminton club. U can have a look at the website: www.redleaf.com

    hi

my friend is in shanghai for few weeks, and i would like to enquire the exact address of the redleaf shop. i take it this shop sells all kinds of badminton gear? I am mainly interested in bringing good quality shuttle cocks so i just have 2 questions..

    1. is it best to buy chao pai/aeroplane/or yonex as30 shuttles from there in terms of value for money?
    2. what is the best speed of shuttle to buy for each of those to use in the UK.

If anyone can help, it would be most appreciated!!

    Hi zeddie,
Redleaf sports shop is at 143,JinshaJiang Lu, the in-charge is Miss Chen.Mobile:13917739779. U may take Subway line:2 and drop at Zhong Shan Meng station and then take line 4 to Jinshajiang station. Then walk about 5 minutes to the shop.;) Chao Pai shuttlecock will cost u abt RMB$108/tube. They dont have yonex shuttlecock or Aeroplane one. But the shop at next do sell Yonex and Aeroplane shuttlecocks.:p Aeroplane(black ribbon) should cost u abt RMB$130/- per tube.;)

    Update..

Readleaf is now renumbered to 135 Jinshajiang Lu. The shop is in exactly the same location but the number has changed.

They do carry Aeroplane(black) at RMB$140 and Chaopai(red) is now RMB$130 (I bought both :p).

The shop next door is BBEsports.

Any new update on where to get aeroplane EG1130 or Chao Pai Red or Blue for a good price. I'm looking to get 2 cases of 50tubes or 100 tubes in Shanghai. I'm taking it back to United States. these two shuttlecock boxes will be my check in luggages. I speak Madarine and english only.

Do a search in taobao.com. They usually offer the best prices there.

Sorry for the bump, but rather than making my own thread I might as well just necro this as I expect the shops (judgeing from the websites) to still exist and I have a (probably moronic) question:

When visiting a shop like any of these, would one haggle or is the price fixed?

    Price is fixed.
Even if you buy RMB10k of products. If you are lucky though, they may thorw in one of two small gift. like key chains, grips, etc. Sometimes.
    Good luck.

Shanghai many shops, stores are generally low-end products, few high-end and specialty products.

    any other landmark?
