Everyone can give a draw that is more benefit for MAS, I think the best draw will be the real draw.

How on earth for Uber Cup MAS team can be seeded 3/4, above INA, DEN, HKG, NED?

I would not agree in following just the team rankings.

The qualifier results should be the main criteria, followed by team rankings and possibly past results.

Draw seeding based on team ranking.that sounds quite fair.
If we want to refer on qualifier result or past results.
work by organizer will be double.to take latest info.n made last minute announcement.in case there is another latest results come out perhaps...

so,yeah..sounds good.at least for malaysia.we have slightly higher chance to be list in an 'easy' group

Then in that case, how do we account for CHN qualifying as defending champs? That is "past results" at work. Although I don't complain about them being topseed, much too strong.

But really, relying in team rankings only will make teams not taking qualifying seriously anymore. Even a team placed fourth (finalqualifier) could then be seeded higher than the champion if we base it on rankings only. Eg. HK if Zhou Mi is included.

    Doesn't matters as B1 or C1.
They will have to play China anyway.

I suppose if any team can take out China in the semi final.
Their team spirit most certainly will grand them the cup.

This case is only in Asian Qualification - European Qulification is also European Team Championships. The BAC should look on Asian Qualification as Asian Team Championships, anyway there is stil no any Asian Team Championships (mens or womens or mixed team).

A difference bewtwen european n asians???i've never realised this.

But abedeng, just satisfied with recent rules.
we are taking the qualifying seriously.wanna debate about this??im willing.
Qualifying tournament is to make sure we send the best team.
Does this lineup have what it takes??
BWF just announce the latest rankings.overall performance.
past results??maybe they played well in a tour then drop.it is unpredictable.
Not fair to do a draw seeing based on a tour.
