Okay guess i jumped on the bandwagon as well...made the order today, hope they will ship it to me soon. They offered to have me come by and pick it up from their distribution office, but i have to make an appointment because they are not there all the time. I told them to just mail it to me, i just dont want to deal with LA traffic and trying to coordinate time of getting to a place. Im chill...i can wait for the mail...hehe

i might have been kinda dense this past few years but has anyone wonder why the WISE is called the WISE 2086?

Yes. Version 11 does go down to 15lbs and the top end is still 86lbs which is more than enough for a lot of us.^^

I would love to grab a Wise, it's just too bad my machine is a drop weight and I can't afford to grab a whole new setup

So after four months of playing around with trying to get consistency out of my tiny stock crank tensioner, I finally moved on and updated to the WISE 2086. A worthy mention of thanks to Dennis Yeung of GLP Sports in Hong Kong, whom I dealt with regarding this purchase.
My original machine is similar to kuwn's AEF OEM although mine has stock plastic supports and has a floating mount system. As kwun has pointed out, the stock height of the turn table is too short for proper clearance of the WISE 2086's head, so Dennis contacted the factory and customised an adapter for my machine. Compared to the original:
With this adapter, my turntable is now at an exact height above the WISE gripper and I have the convenient 360 rotation (pictures to come soon). Dennis also sent the dimensions of my machine's steel foundation bar and had an adapter for the WISE to sit on without having me to modify my machine like kwun did.
And here is a picture of my Armortec racquet strung to 34lbs ECP with my new machine:
I will post more pictures of my machine when I can find a good background to match

O/T, but is that a Superbrands Armortec? If so, what are you doing
a) Stringing it, and
b) Stringing it at 34?!?

Lol, I think WISE should pay BC a % for every tension head sold because of these forums. They probably sold like 6 just last week from these forums, and that's not counting people who don't post to show their brand new toy :P

A bit of drilling may be required but it is not overly complicated. Just make sure you order the drop weight bracket.
