Need assistance in choosing clamps
To all the stringing experts out there, I recently bought a used Spinfire stringing machine but they only come with 2x fixed Tennis clamps. I'm wondering if these Tennis clamps can also be used for Badminton? Why/Why not?
If not, then I'll probably need to purchase some Badminton clamps... what would you recommend and would 1x clamp be enough? Does it have to fixed or will a flying one do the job just as well?
Thanks in advance.

String with all Fly Clamps is OK.
You can probably get away with stringing the mains with the tennis clamps.
Or you can just use the clamp once like a starting clamp and use your fly clamps for the rest of the mains and crosses.
Get badminton clamps...can be used for both mains and crosses.
Most likely tennis clamps cannot be used for crosses because the gaps between the teeth are too large for the spacing between badminton strings.
Many suggest to get the badminton/multifunction clamps at W&D (# WA3342) but you need to make sure that the diameter of your post is 12mm.
Now if you are doing Haribito Pro or Victor one piece stringing patterns then you most likely will need a fixed clamp to accomplish this.

Thanks for the prompt response! I think I will go with your suggested Option 3 but before I make the purchase, you mentioned the clamps only work with a post diameter of 12mm - by that do you mean the base that the fixed clamps are attached to? The machine I got is a Spinfire Blaze. Will it be compatible?
