Taufik Hidayat [7] vs Lee Chong Wei [2] - With both aiming for their first AE title, it definitely is the match to watch. I'm not gonna make any predictons until both of them clear their first two rounds.

Lin Dan [1] vs Park Sung Hwan - Park has beaten the top seed twice last year (Malaysia Open and China Open), can Park do it again? I'm sure that Lin is eager to avenge those losses to Park.

    Lee Hyun Il...

The Korean and German Open champions Lee Hyun Il will face Chen Yu and Bao Chunlai in the first two rounds. If he advances, he will probably meet the top seed Lin Dan in the semi-final. Those are good matches to watch, imo.

How about Sho Sasaki v Park Sung Hwan in R1? A repeat of their QF encounter in the GO when Sasaki shocked Park in 3 hard fought games. Will Park have learned anything from this defeat or does Sasaki have his number?

I myself would very much want to watch another match between Koo/Tan and Kido/Hendra

    Just imagine: All-England Final -- Koo/Tan vs Kido/Hendra
IF (and that's a big big IF), Kido/Hendra emerge victorious (eventually), that will have boosted their confidence for the upcoming Olympics.

But let's take it one match at a time first

There's an even bigger IF ...... whether Koo/Tan can make it to the final in the first place.

Pretty sure Kido/Hendra would, their toughest test would be Choong/Lee or Luluk/Alvent.

WMC vs XXF, that is most awaited in WS section. A test of XXF's injured arm, so to speak.

Unfortunately, WMC must navigate a minefield first, with Maria Kristin and Jiang Yanjiao providing very stern challenge.

    Taufik Hidayat's road to title:
    R32: should be negotiable
R16: Ng Wei or Q2 -- could be 3-sets to stretch his muscles in preparation of the match against Lee Chong Wei :p
QF: 90% it's gonna be Lee Chong Wei
SF: 80-90% it's gonna be Chen Jin

I would rate Taufik's chance of reaching the Final as 50%...it will hinge on the match against Lee Chong Wei. If he can somewhat emerge victorious, then he should have a high chance against Chen Jin.
