Kkk/tbh going downhill on late '07 - early '08.The best result this year.Round 2..Others - 1st round already out.
But who will dare to say, this is the end of the road?
those who scared to have dreams are losers.Hear that?LOSERS.
N sis aza, yes.I agree with rexy.He is in charge. We appointed him.We think he has what it takes to train our athletes.So,now..We cant just simply say he is wrong in making decision.Just cant.
I wont just believe in all rumours n having a thought based on them.
KKK is an individual that has proved himself before.I've seen a good side of him as a national shuttler. That matters most.

[quote=badMania;826330]I just read that part too
Quite unusual for Kompas to highlight a Malaysian player's "downfall". Maybe the journalist was too over-excited, esp the last part when he mentioned that Kido/Hendra never won against Koo/Tan. Koo/Tan's withdrawal from the Olympics undoubtedly will boost Kido/Hendra's chance of a Gold Medal in the Beijing Games
That was a translation from the NST article, from English to Indonesian, he he. The story broke in NST 1st, then the other press followed suit.
Yeah, you'll be happy if your heros have 1 less bogeyman to overcome .
But I suspect the end of the drama may be anti-climatic to some.

..after reading all of these latest news/reports, KKK's baddy talent but seemingly rather "flamboyant" lifestyle, attitude and lack of discipline issues remind me of another young (used to be) phenom, living not too far from M'sia........guess who??.........................................yep, Taufik Hidayat..(of course, minus all the incidents of assaulting and provoking fans & public; blonde hairdo and "overly accessorized" bling2 collection)..

it's all a ruse to give the other pairs a false sense of security and then WHAM!
or it could just be a lack of determination, hard work and focus ....

Pemuda, you're not targetted here. I'm absolutely certain you know what my point is.
To others who are advocating a healthy dose of money to solve the problem, I hope you can recognize a system-wide, or complex problem, over a simplistic one problem, one solution situation.
Say that 100 million dollars suddenly appeared in the national treasury to be spent solely on badminton advancement, will Malaysia get the next World Championship trophy?
What would you spend the money on? Scouting new talents? Scrapping all the current talents? Hiring new coaches? What?
The problem is: How to lay down the infrastructure toward badminton supremacy? How do we get there?
Although Pemuda has highlighted the problems, and given out solutions, it has gotten buried as all attention is being washed away by
"my KKK, pity him"
"i show support, what else?"
"never mind lah, a true support, so support"
"everyone mistake, so KKK mistake, give chance"
"I know him personally, he no like dat one in real life"
"I know the real story, but I will not tell you"
The only thing I can really see that's really relevent to KKK is that he's physically capable of troughing, or reaching the bottom the hill, then scampering up to the top again. The question is: Will he?
The facilities are there, an uber coach is present, the rewards are present (but prematurely dispensed) and fan idolation is present. So what's missing?
And further more, since this thread is about Koo Kien Keat and Tan Boon Heong ... what about TBH?
Is he as talented, more (less) talented, or is KKK "the man"?

This pair is your regular 'cart and horse'.
Both Rexy and KKK have said as much themselves.
Koo Kien Keat is the horse
Tan Boon Heong is the cart
The problem relates to where they are now going.
Is it the horse that's dragging them downhill?
Or is it that the cart is too heavy for the horse?
Maybe the cart needs a different horse.
Maybe the horse needs a different cart.
