    1. MS - Both Korean dark horses crashed.
    2. WS - Top 2 world rank out.
    3. MD - World rank no 2 & 3 out and most of Malaysian pairs out.

Day 3 matches not to miss:
WS - Zhu Lin vs Tine (I support Tine)
MS - Both Japanese, Shoji Sato and Sho Sasaki

Yeah that the upsets of the day
since XXF lost follows with Boonsak, Koo Tan, Kido Seti and then Zhang Ning.

Actually, when you look at it, there is only on upset in the Malaysian camp -- KKK-TBH. I did not think the ones now out had a good chance of progressing anyway.

All the ones I am barracking for are still there -- LCW, CTF-LWW, and WMC. I am still happy.;):)

This is making OG even harder to predict with so many upset in the first round.

ah, there's still time to sort everything out before the OG.
though the pressure there will be enormous, it really depends on who is able to cope with it.

actually XXF and ZN both losing was more surprising.
they are way more consistent than KKK/TBH.
not to mention MK/HS, now that was a shocker, especially the 2nd game.

Koo/Tan has lost to the Sakamoto/Ikeda before, quite recently and in KL as well. Zhang and Xie's recent records are nothing to shout about. So does Koo/Tan's.

To me the most surprising upsets are Kido/Setiawan (who reputedly does not lose to opponents in the lower echelons of the rankings) and Lee Hyun Il (who seems invincible at the moment).

I was most suprise of LHI and XXF lost.
I think most of the people including myself doubt about KKK/TBH judging from their current forms even before the game start, so it is an upset, but suprise? Nope.

I hope CY / FHF can win the title.
unfortunately, last year they lost to KKK / TBH in the final match.
CHN almost clean sweep all 5 titles

Agreed. It should be more appropriate to say that those are fallen seeds.
Kindra has been consistent since winning the WC last year. A first round straight-set loss is indeed a shocking ones. On the other hand, LHI has reached 3 back-to-back finals, (1 runner-up and 2 titles), a loss to a top 10 player from CHN is not really surprising though.

hehe..i'd prefer 5 different countries which each got 1 title, rather than to watch CHN to have all the titles..boring u knoe??
