    Well, I'm going to purchase a new racket, and I'm more inclined towards the Ti-10s because of the price tag, but the AT-700 is also under consideration. I'm unsure as to the quality of performance between the old and new (new) Ti-10, as they are the ones built of presumably the same materials. I'm wondering if the Ti-10 is a better choice both price-wise and in terms of performance against the AT-700. Persaude away!

    Yes yes, I know part of this comparison has already been discussed, but what's wrong with a fresh round of perspectives? ;)

    For the AT700, are you referring to the old one or the new one?

    I believe both the old and new At-700 are the same.

    Some believe that the *old* at700 is more powerful but brittle/fragile, and the new at700 is less powerful, but more durable.
    The Ti10 and the at700 are quite similar, arent they ? The old versions are like.. more powerful but less durable. They also have similar materials used, and a head-heavy balance.

    The difference i knew about those rackets..
    1.AT700 old is stiffer than the AT700 new.The rest is preety much the same.
    2.TI10 old n new is different..TI10 old is built with all UHMG..while its predecessors r only using HMG.Old TI-10 is head heavy while its predecessor r head light/balance.

    So,when u ask which one is better,in which term were u talking about?
    About the more offensive,or the more all round?

    You mean successor instead of predecessor >.>. Predecessor refers to something before, so what you said was oxymoronic. :rolleyes:

    Not sure it it’s off topic but makes me wonder how the system works, where are these new Ti-10's ( yellow and now purple) made and why are they not listed on the yonex website?

    I use an old Ti-10 Long and know yonex discontinued this line around the same time when MP series was introduced.

    Recently I heard of the new yellow version and now a purple one. I have ordered one online and waiting for the shipment to arrive

    Just confused are these racquets only marketed in certain regions? Can anyone enlighten me

    is quite a long history
    ti-10(black) came out in the 90's, discontinued.
    user still demanding, then yonex came out the new version (even balance) the yellow version. however, only marketed at certain region, mostly Asia.
    the current(latest) version is purple colour.
    difference (some said);
    1. new colour/paint job - better resistant or more durable
    2. made of UMHG instead of HMG for yellow ti-10.
    \
    back to topic;
    Tsumaranai,
    which criteria that you prefer;
    1. head heavy or even balance
    2. require more power from racket?
    3. better defense?

    Attached is two picture of the Ti-10 I am receiving next week, the clarity is not any good but will post more pictures when I get it. This looks like a different color scheme than the yellow or the purple

    Any thoughts?:confused:
