2008 JTUltra graded team tournament

    I have received a flyer from Jacky Chen regarding to a competition coming up. following is the information.

    JTULtra Team tournament 2008
    Date: 29/3 B and D grade, 30/3 A and C grade
    Location: Donvale Indoor Sports Centre
    360 springvale rd, donvale
    contact person: Jacky Chen 0402 826 583, sales@jtultra.com.au
    application close 21/3 (friday)


    PLAYING FORMAT / SCORING

    Each Match consists 3x Games, each Game will be played with New Rally Scoring up to 15pts best of 3 sets with no deuce. In the round-robin pools, winning will be determined by number of Matches won, then by Games and Sets etc.

    TROPHIES and Prizes:

    All graded Winners will be presented with a Trophy and Runner’s Up will receive a gift pack.

    Agrade Winners will also receive prize money:
    ·$180 for Mens Team
    ·$120 for Ladies Team

    (Event will only qualify for prize money if there are 4 or more teams participating in the event)

    The “Best Performing Club” will receive a trophy and 3 dozen shuttles.

    And thank you hkhung for informing our members@ccc about this event here@Badminton Central.

    To ShyYen... Jacky could organise his tournaments differently. This time it appears that clubs are to send in their club team(s).

    So it might be best to contact Jacky directly. Just tell him that you wish to participate and that you're from CCC Badminton.

    best contact jacky through his email. otherwise you might get wrong information from me. i can be quite bad (lazy too) at memory at times.

    also, are you interested in playing comp? if so, come this friday and we will talk more with other CCC members.

    thats correct, 3 people rotating in doubles

    after talking to some people (shy, edward - whom i saw at crown sat day nite) in the past few days, it does look like we would definitely have a team.

    i was hoping to talk to CCC people about this JT comp this friday and now the cancellation of friday has made this impossible.

    oh well, next time then.
