I like LCW's chance today - in 2 sets. He should be ready for LD tomorrow. If he loses, I will say nothing bad about LD from now. :)

LCW beat him convincingly the last time and I think he should beat him again without problem, unless WACHA has learned very quickly how to beat LCW.

hope the veterans can def AE08 champion-LYD/JJS..LCW will def wacha unless there's some unexpect factor o too many unforce errors fr LCW..
    Match between Zakry/Fairus n Markis/Hendra:
    I predict Markis/Hendra will win...but i think Zakry/Fairuz will give a good fight..hope they will give us a surprise..;)

Only 2 INA representatives left in the Semi-Final and I hope both can advance to the Final tomorrow.

    MEN'S DOUBLES
Mohd Fairuzizuan Mohd Tazari/Mohd Zakry Abdul Latif vs Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan [2] -- Kido/Hendra have been consistent this week and they should have an edge in this encounter. I hope they go on to collect their first title in Europe.

    MIXED DOUBLES
Anthony Clark/Donna Kellogg vs Nova Widianto/Lilyana Natsir [2] -- Flandy/Vita surprisingly lost badly to Clark/Kellogg. Nova/Butet better be careful of Clark's mind-games, esp before the start of the match. With no Zheng/Gao left in the draw, it will be a good opportunity to also scoop their first title in Europe.

There are three surprising semifinalists here when the unseededs enter last four of SUI SS/08, Wacha, Fairuz/Zakry and Clark/Kellogg. And it looks like their journey will be stopped today.

From SUI Open official web, the schedule is quite unsual for semifinal match which is splitted into two parts. Part one session : 14.00 - 18.00 and part two : 19.00 - 23.00, too late. From tournament software, order-to-play for today's semifinal part one session :

    Part One (14.00 - 18.00) :
    1) XD -- He/Yu vs Lee Young Dae/Lee Hyo Jung (14.00)
    2) WS -- XXF vs Xu Huaiwen (14.40), followed by
    3) MD -- Fairuz/Zakry vs Kido/Setiawan
    4) MS -- Wacha vs LCW
    5) WD -- Du/Yu vs Yang/Zhang

At the rate of play by KKK/TBH, it would be impossible for them to even beat the second Korean pair in the forthcoming Thomas Cup. KKK should stop showing off his talents too much and should compromise with TBH as both players must co-operate as doubles players instead of playing individually. It did happened to LWW/CTF once, however, they managed to patch up and drop their differences. Despite of their age but they seem to understand each other games so wel bringing in excellent results. Both KKK/TBH should realise that they are playing for the country and for themselves.

    MEN'S SINGLES
Lin Dan [1] vs Bao Chunlai [3] -- yawn...no match here...Lin Dan will surely progress, unless, his "injury" strikes him again.

Przemyslaw Wacha vs Lee Chong Wei [2] -- Wacha is the beneficiary of Chen Jin's retirement and LCW should go into his second Final this year.

    MEN'S DOUBLES
Jung Jae Sung/Lee Yong Dae [6] vs Choong Tan Fook/Lee Wan Wah [4] -- Jung/Lee have been impressive so far and I don't see them losing today.

    WOMEN'S SINGLES
Xie Xingfang [1] vs Xu Huaiwen [7] -- its time for China to win a title in WS this year.

Pi Hongyan [5] vs Zhang Ning [2] -- Pi was simply destroying Zhu Lin yesterday and I fear Zhang Ning might suffer a similar fate today.

    WOMEN'S DOUBLES
Wei Yili/Zhang Yawen [1] vs Lee Kyung Won/Lee Hyo Jung [4] -- Lee Hyo Jung will be exhausted after the earlier XD match. The Chinese pair to take this one.

Du Jing/Yu Yang [3] vs Yang Wei/Zhang Jiewen [2] -- I hope the veteran pair triumph!

    MIXED DOUBLES
He Hanbin/Yu Yang [5] vs Lee Yong Dae/Lee Hyo Jung [6] -- Lee/Lee have been pretty consistent and this will be another tense affair, with the Korean having a slight edge.

i hope LCW will make it through. but it depends on which LCW will go into the match with wacha. if it is the LCW that beat TH in the recently concluded AE08, there's a good chance LCW will beat wacha in two sets. if it is the LCW that was beaten by chen jin in AE08, then wacha just might have a sliver of a chance to make an upset.

and if LCW proceeds, he will either face LD or BCL. and if LD and BCL are giving it their all, LD will most probably go through. but if LYB have another idea, BCL might make it through.

i guess we will have to just wait and see. :)

oh, and somehow, even though the koreans should be more tired than the rest, i still think one of them will win it. which one i am not sure. but at least one. :D
