I'm probably around beginner/intermediate (probably leaning closer to intermediate) and am on the school team for badminton. What is a good racket for me? I currently have a Wilson recreational type racket so I definitely need a new one. I'm looking for something that's light (or definitely lighter than my Wilson). Budget is around $100 max. Thanks.

You could try the racket Dink's selling, unless you can only buy from a local store.

Yup.. Dink's racquets = value for money, I'm very sure.. though I havent tried one yet. Should be good anyway.

Those racquets are way too good for beginner-intermediates.. They cant fully utilize the potential in those racquets.
Cab20 is ok though, it's good for everyone..

Okay so I've done a little more research and have pretty much found mixed reviews. I'm considering getting either the NC Tuff 9, Isometric 75 MF or the AM 150. What do you guys think? I honestly don't know anything about the strings and tensions yet so if you guys could make recommendations on that as well, that'd be great.

Those ones you've mentionned are very suitable for you. They usually come with the factory-strings, so you wouldn't really need to worry about getting it strung yet. If you break the strings, I reccomend bg65 at 22lbs.

I would go with the Iso 75 Mf or another racquet you havent mentioned there is either the MP21(My First Racquet) or the MP29light. Go with the 21 if u want a light defensive racquet for net play and the 29 if ur more of a backcourt smasher.

Karakal Mtec range would be my suggestion, good racquets for starter through to club level players and not as expensive as a similar Yonex.

I thought that Cab20 is heavy..which might probably not very suitable for beginners/intermediate.Besides,its sweet spot r smaller than any other iso shaped frame..which may cause him to mishits more.More demanding..
