Cheapest most effective stringing machine
Hello People
I would like to start stringing my own rackets and was wondering if people could tell me what the cheapest most effective stringing machine is and where to get it.
I don't really want to spend over £250
Thanks

what about the easy-3. For about 50usd more it boasts a single fixed clamp and a hold down clamping method around the frame?

Oh man, I wouldn't get this thing unless you live in LA. You have to be there in person or else Eagnas in LA will send you a used and defective unit.

Here is a good one besides the Pro's Pro Shuttle Express: http://www.cnalphabadminton.com/shop...products_id=39
You can get the AM-200H6 - Portable from Mister Keen at mksg@netvigator.com Be sure to add two extra Exthree or HiQua flying and three Yonex flying clamps (for cross stringing).

These two machines, from the photo, look identical.
Watdon sells the Pro's Pro for 135 UKP and ships from UK
The other sells for ~224 UKP. I'm not sure why there's such a big difference in price.
The two flying clamps that come with the PP SE are not as strong for gripping at higher tensions as the MBS clamps (which others have said are the same as Hi Qua).
Watdon also lists the Yonex flying clamp for 8 UKP which, from what I've seen, is one of the least expensive anywhere. It's even less than the MBS or HiQua from MBS.
One word of warning is the PP's seem to often lack user manuals in the box. It's very easy and I didn't need any.
