Many International Series and International Challenge tournaments in Europe are like this
... I believe this is because of 2 things:
1. Fewer days that count towards tournament-hall rental fees.
2. Too few spectators on Wednesdays and Thursdays... The hoards of spectators will most likely be around on Friday-Saturday-Sunday...

Hi Krisna......So Aamir finally reached the main draw. Well Aamir was away from Badminton for 4months totally, and he made a comeback like 7 or 8 months ago, So he's playing well now....

Interesting Matches for today are:
Arvind Bhat vs Jurgen Koch 60% 40%
Ari Yuli Wahyu HARTANTO vs Rajiv Ouseph
Stefan vs Aamir GHAFFAR (difficult to predict, Rematch of the Portuguese, Aamir lost to him in three games).
Petr Koukal vs Carlos Longo. (should be a good one)
Kestutis Navickas vs Richard Vaughan (this could be the most thrilling match for Today).
Rune Ulsing vs Marc Zwiebler (Marc should win in two easy games).

Please forgive my pedantry, but Hwang Hye Young hasn't played since 1992, the year she won Olympic Gold in Barcelona. Hwang Hye Youn still has a chance, though.

You're right. I accidentally added 'y' there... Ha ha...

By the way, Fran-Shendy defeated Chang-Liao 21-8, 21-8 in 11 minutes just now...
I am still dissapointed with the fact that Hayom and Wisnu who could not go to the main draw...
Wahyu is leading 16-13 over Rajiv Ouseph now...

Wahyu won convincingly over Rajiv 21-16, 21-11... Jan Vondra is next for him... I expect a SF clash between Wahyu vs. Wacha... He he he...
