Based on my trying of rackets, I have decide to purchase one of these rackets. I know this: 9Ks is stiff, head light 8k is ?,? 7k is stiff, head light now the question is...other than the different stuff yonex puts in the rackets, is there any practical difference? or are they all very similar. the other question is which would you recomend. I am a frequent player, at least 4 times a week, and play mostly doubles. I currently use and MP88, which i got because at the time, it allowed me to clear crosscourt. However, i have now improved, and can do it with a nanospeed 7k. I am definitely a control player, and my partner the power player.
too late to edi...but supposedly, the 7k is the most headlight/fastest, 8k in the middle, 9k is leaning towards more even/slower
wow...triple post... any reccomendations? i hafa say, I am VERY defensive. and yes, I have tried all of those rackets
the thing is...the 7K I really prefer..but with that..i kinda lose my smash "lethality" I haven't played as much with the others, but i think it would either by 7k or 9ks.....the only reason i want the 9k is the slight power advantage, which I could use. since i play doubles, and am the control player, with my partner the hard hitter, this could work out. so my question really should be one of strategy. I can defen really well with the 7k due to its extreme headlightedness. is it wrth sacrificeing this for some power, by gettin 9k???
power will comes as grow older....... ever try th arc saber 7? power that comes with great maneuverability.
yea, tried it, but i thought it was a bit too even balanced. but i will possibly borrow one from a friend and try it out some more...
I have tried all of them and the best of the lot for me is the NS9K. It's good in defense because of its aeroframe and headlightness, and can deliver a wallop of a smash because of the elastic Ti embedded within the frame,a feature not present with the two previous models. A well rounded racket,in my opinion.
