Desperately seeking the Karakal two-tone grips with overlapping layers. My regular supplier (in Singapore) was Wong Shoon Keat. But, as with the SBA hall, his store has had to close Does anyone have these grips in stock? I was getting them at "3 for SGD 10". I'm willing to buy 20 to 30 grips in one go.
Would those be; PU Touch Supergrip, or PU Supergrip Duo Just wondering, because I used to play with PU Touch Supergrip. I think they're great (a bit thick, though), but are now really difficult to come by .
Erm... Apologies for erroneous Post Icon in previous post... Meant for it to have no icon... (I've got 'stupid fingers' )
I don't remember the darned 'marketing' name However, I had a look at a few of the grips on my old racquets. From what I can make out on the ones that are now peeling away, it does say 'PU Touch'. Thanks a ton for your effort to help. Now, if I could just find them
i beleive central sports stock them not sure where theyl ship to thow. you can try the address though, might be worth a go! www.centralsports.co.uk
if not, try contacting karakal directly, they should be able to point you in the right direction ... http://www.karakal.com/index.php/6/contact/
why not try Classic sports? i remember seeing some grips with dual color, not sure if those are what you want.
grips by Karakal Contact www.giadinhsports.com....they have all grips and Karakal rackets in stock and the best prices anywhere...info@giadinhsports.com is the contact but the web site gives you all the pictures of the products...
you can go to a sports shop in East Point shopping mall 2nd level, they have the PU Super Grip Duo, just bought 1 pack (2pcs) from them yesterday at sgd$8.90.
Thanks guys for the pointers. I will check out those leads. In fact, I bought my second Ti-10 from Classic Sports. At that time, I did check the grips in stock there. But they didn't have the one I'm looking for. On either Sealman's or Ah Xiong's suggestion, I chose the Toalson grips. They're indeed quite tacky... except that they're way too thin
Thanks for that, wocdam Please let me know if you find any. Also, another of our excellent members is getting some for me. My days of sweat-lined stress seem to be coming to an end
That's a very good price you're paying. I thought one Karakal replacement grip cost least S$5 in Singapore. Believe Mustafa Centre and Gallen Sports (Parkway Parade 3rd level) carry Karakal grips but not sure of they have the ones you're looking for. If you are not particular, there is a brand called "Linus" which carry similar replacement grips available at Queensway Shopping Centre. Cheers
Yep, the Linus and Karakal grips look the same but they don't feel the same. My MP 99 still has a Linus dual-colour grip (again, from Wong Shoon Keat). In my opinion, the Linus isn't as tacky as the Karakal PU Touch.
Sgbad, a member in BC is selling these grips. I believe at $4 each. I personally think it's the best grip around, before this I was using Yonex, Pacific & Whipper. You can PM him... BTW he is in Singapore~
