What are the differences between the Armortec 700(old and new) and the Ti-10? I play mainly singles for my school but i do would like to play doubles with it too. 1. How often do you play, how serious are you? I like to play at least 3 times a week 2. What style of player are you? (Aggressive smasher, net player ...) All around 3. Do you care much about durability or is it all about performance? I care more about performance than i do durability 4. How much money do you want to spend? N/A I'm asking this because my mom is in Indonesia and she told me that she got me an Armortec 700 over there, not sure if it is what grip size it is or weight, ill ask her when i call her again in a couple of days. I've demo'd the AT700 before and i really like it. I just wanna know how the Ti-10 compares to it. thanks.
Ti-10 old 3UG4 i feel is harder to swing around, slightly less stiff, head heavy at700 new 3Ug4 easier to swing around, stiffer , head heavy
If u can get one..4UG4 Old AT700.Indo still have them..Great playability with great power!3U AT700 old n new is harder to get used to at the first few times, but once u get used to it,n be able to get the power out..u'll be amazed by it.But if u're looking for a more user friendly,go for Ti-10..better maneuverability with decent power, not as big as AT700 can put out.
3rd gen ti-10 is head lighter than its previous gen.If u comparing AT700 with the Ti-10,then maybe the best comparison would be AT700(old/new) n Ti-10 1st gen..Both has stiff shaft n head heavy..
Is the old Ti-10 even alive anymore? thought it was discontinued & put off sales.. AT700 & the old Ti-10 are quite similar so i find it hard to tell which is better.. all i know is that the old Ti-10 has better durability, but that's about it.
U gotta have to ask yonex about that then..lol.Why did they put AT700 on the top of the most offensive racket,n the old ti-10 before, but not Ti-10 yellow head, the one that recorded 350kmh,as the fastest smash out there?=P..
the at700 hasn't got the fastest recorded smash performed on it purely because Fu 'The Cannon' Haifeng has not used it during competitions where they measure the speed of shots. i believe it's something to do with giving others a chance to win some titles for a change ...
quick question, so the only difference between the new and old at700 is that the new one can swing easier than the old one?
If the new one can 'swing easier than the old one', then it would be a completely different racquet with a different balance point, different aerodynamics of the frame, etc..
If my memory serves me right yonex changed the color so that people wouldn't be confused between the at700 and at900p.
Lots of people are claiming now that LD uses the AT900P because the at900p looks so similar to the old at700, which they dont know about.. There shouldn't be any difference between the new and old at700 IMO. But I'll have to test the old at700 myself to back up my statement.. I haven't tried the old version yet.
There has never been anybody confirming that the new At-700 is the same as the old. There has too many people swearing that the new one is different.
Yes. The new and old AT700 are slightly different. The old AT700 are a little bit head heavier than the new one.
Agree. Thats what my friend said too. A little bit heavier and a little stiffer. Not really apparent.
