I'm now using Sotx D-500 and I love it. I think it is responsive and easy to use. Now I am looking for something to try out which can give me similar feeling, with also similar or even better performance. I would like to find one which has stiff shaft and light head (at least not a heavy-head one) as I play double mostly and want to have a "quicker" racket. I'm now thinking of Victor PW-11 and Yonex TI-10 (purple one). Could you all please give me some comparisons and suggestions?
well, if may make a different suggestion... the D700 is 5mm longer, 2 grams heavier, even balanced, and stiffer than your d500... Same balance, slightly heavier, stiffer...how about that? From the (93gram!) pw11 I had in my hands...It's a beast... Nothing like the d500...
the new ti-10 is not headlight, it's evenbalance/moderatly headheavy. Ns9000s might be a good choice.
D-700 sounds great, unfortunately it is not available here. I can only find D-300, D-500, D-600 and D-900 here, too bad... So does the PW-11 feel like Woven-7?
The purple TI-10 is about even-balance? I've heard many people saying that it is really really head-light... I also think that the NS-9000S would suits me. However, price is an issue. Also, I don't quite trust Yonex rackets' durability (especially for the NS series).
were might that be? Most retailers are probably more than willing to help you get a d700... If you contact them, that is I'd say the pw11 is closer to the woven11... If you like the weight and balance of your d500, I can't imagine you'll like the w7/pw11
none of the ti10s can be described as really really head light by any stretch of the imagination. they are certainly not as head heavy as the armortecs, but would be classified about even balanced or perhaps a little bit head heavier than that.
Actually I'm not so sure whether the D-500 is of head-light or even-balanced. So is there anyone who has tried both the D-500 and the purple TI-10?
I happen to know for a fact that a certain dutch shop has at least 4 D700's lying around... they do ship internationally In the UK and Australia they probably have them as well...but not to sure...
