Anyone is coming to Singapore for the AVIVA Open? Hopefully I get a chance to meet few "famous" BCers Uncle Loh will be the ambassador and I'll be the assistant?
Maybe me. As usual if I go, it will be from q-finals onwards, driving by car. Hopefully the jam caused by additional security checks at the immigration gates would have been ok by then.
To Jimbo Dear Jimbo, I am definitely be in the stadium to watch the matches. Hope to meet you there. From: Ayu
To Abedeng Dear Abedeng, I hope that by that time everything is back to normal. It is great to have more Malaysian BC to rock my stadium like what Famemas supporters had done last year during the semis and the final. The atmosphere was great and I was a part of the supporters club.Hope to see you there. From: Ayu
He he he, sorry to busy body Abedeng, but there's also the issue of the hotel stay. Passport, this gal should have a current one, she's going Jakarta right?
Yes, 3 options.... Option 1 - swim across South China Sea Option 2 - travel by Bujang Senang Option 3 - fly with the bird (Eagle or Birdwood) I don't mind to be sponsored.... Having passport, yes, but........
If you're not from Sabah/Sarawak, there's always the bus & train. Bus nowadays have VVIP sets, you can prop your leg up or trains there're beds to sleep in, even 2nd class. Young CAT no prob. I used to travel 8 hours Mcca-Penang by bus. No prob. Budget for hotel stay might be prob though
I have a number of friends stay in Singapore...accomodation is not a problem...but, no leave, no leave, no leave..... Jess, come to Kuching, before u go study..........
Leisure Park is a fairly new shopping mall within walking distance of the SIS. http://www.leisurepark.com.sg/mall.html Spectators can grab a quick bite at the food court selling local food.
