Asia Badminton reports Gong Zhichao beat Camilla Martin in Copenhagen Masters final 4-7, 7-4, 7-4, 8-7. Martin led 6-2 in 4th set but couldn't close it out.
Gong continues her pattern against Martin, coming from behind to grab victory, denying Martin several game points.

On the other hand, just looking at the scores this match seems closer than their other meetings. Does the 5/7 scoring system favor fast starters who play an aggressive game (like CM) over more defensive players who like long rallies, play consistently, and wait for the opponent's error (like GZC)? What do others think?

I personally think that the new scoring system sucks but i think it does tend to give aggressive smashers the advantage. Because smashing normally takes up plenty of energy and coz the sets are shorter they can afford to do it more often
