Problem will be when you use heavily cushioned shoes + silicon insoles, which I am using as of now. Its all about getting used to it and preventing ankle injuries if you know your own game very well. Insoles+normal yonex shoes shouldn't be a big deal. Its just that you will feel it to be a bit heavy for first couple of days. Thats it. But you can easily sacrifice your first two days for the comfort and protection for long term.
In India, you can get it for around 10-15$. You'll in get it in a pharmacy shop and not sports shop hehehe. Various online stores in google shows it shouldn't be more than 50$ at the max. in various countries.
I am boasting about the insoles on and on. This is because it really made a difference in my life and the way I play. And I have been playing since a little more than 20years.Last edited by paroxysmal; 12-14-2010 at 11:57 PM.

As a matter of interest, is anybody using the old Asics Gel Sensei Mk I (the blue ones) and can put a picture up purely for my gratification? I was sent into a frothing shop-rage trying to find these things a couple of years ago; even now I see pictures, click excitedly, and am greeted by NO LONGER AVAILABLE.
Ah well... my forthcoming $55 Victor 8600Ace's will have to do

^^Nice one, Dink - you just saved me from having to answer a dozen emails

I'll put a review of the 8600s (specifically c.f.'d with the 99LTDs) in the appropriate thread when I get hold of them.

Thanks for the answer. Yes it's an old model of indoor asics shoes (not meant for badminton) that I could buy in common sports retailers and not badminton specialists.
My SHB101 LTD are dead, I've been using SHB5 but they are torn now so now I'm currently using these SH 8500 from victor
