New players are welcome to our drop in games, Wednesday nights, 7PM-9PM, at the basement of the First United Church, Lakeshore Road just east of Mississauga Road. Cost is $2, no membership fees.

Mississauga is a 'burb of Toronto.

We are a "friendly games" bunch of people are "pro hits" are kinda' frowned upon.

Parents with kids are welcome as we have a baby-sitting pen, with parents taking turns watching the little ones.

    We even lend out racquets!

sure, sounds good but i live inSouthern California, USA. But there is something i can do, i can offer you some free sample of feather shuttlecorks. I am working in a large company that sell badminton supplies in USA. I am just wondering what kind of birdies and rackets you guys are using at your place and how many people play there :)
best of luck!!! on your new club

I've been to basements with badminton courts before... and although the height isn't that great, it's still playable. The height was around 20 feet, so no high clears. I'm not sure about First Badminton @ Miss. though i'd imagine it's around the same.

    Woodlands Badminton

If you are interested in badminton in mIssissauga, you can sign up at Woodlands Secondary School, but the season goes from September to May. You pay $65 or something like that and you can play Tuesday and Thursdays from 7 to 10:30 pm from September (first school week) to May (last week) Email i believe is woodlandsbaddieclub@yahoo.com or .ca but just show up in September and go to the big gym (the one with 6 courts) or Erindale S.S. or Meadowvale S.S. has them too but on different nights and Erindale;s costs is like $130 or something
