where can i get Mavis shuttles around Petaling jaya/subang/sunway/bangsar/taman tun areas? thank you!
no wor i went taman megah's badminton court's shop there they dont sell then i went taman megah's prox sports shop only sells feather too.. hehe just want to test how good is Mavis 370
don't waste your time man, the plastic shuttles so far are far inferior to the feathers. sure, you save a bit of money, but it's not worth the loss of enjoyment you get out of the game.
ahhh ok haha cause according to yonex's website they wrote that its much like a feather shuttle cock so I was just curious lor
nah, not really, i've used them before, they are much heavier and fly like rockets when you smash. also they lack feel, so netplay isn't much fun. they last a lot longer though, so are a much cheaper alternative to feathers but i wouldn't recommend them.
ok thank you so much for the review! haha yea i know what you mean =p ive used carlton's shuttles n they are =.=" i would prefer speed 77 thanks alot btw!
i've used carltons before and they are alright actually. we were using the AG1 if i remember correctly, a bit fast so we had to tip them but they last quite long and the flight was pretty consistent.
I have played with yonex mavis (Mavis 500 if i'm not mistaken). Bought it when I was in Denmark few years ago. I think its the best nylon shuttle, but of course feather would be better. The flight is consistent, not too fast (slower then the carlton) and really last long. Still keeping few of these shuttle as souvinier. Btw I never saw this yonex Mavis shuttle in Malaysia. Maybe because it would be very expensive ( when I bought this, it was about RM 72 for 1/2 dozen ...)
err its actually RM12/shuttle ... (RM72 for half dozen) . But that was mavis 500. Don't know about Mavis 10. From the Yonex website they have mavis 7, 19, 10, 300, 350, 370 and 500 ...
