I got a crack on my backup racquet and will be shopping anytime soon.

I need recommendation based on the following list.

at900t, arc10, ti-10 (purple sp or yellow?)...or even thinking victor power wave 12, or nano power 3,5

I mostly play doubles game, and I do defence/offence 50/50.

Which racquet would the best fit for me?

    Thanks in advance guys/gals

    :)

I hadn't really tired the ARC10 and Ti10 but I tried an AT900T for a little while and I found that it it had decent power, not as much as the At900p but it still had some decent kick in it. But like I said I have only tested it for a little while so I do not have enough playing time with it to give you more info. I recently ordered one I might put up an review within the next... 3 - 4 weeks.

I like to smash whenever possible 80%, I prefer easy clearing when doing a defence. Using a head heavy racquet provided me with good smashes, but slow defence, so I don't know how to balance this.
I play doubles 90% of time, if that matters =P

btw, I used my friend's AT900P 4U for a while, and found out that it's too head heavy for me, as I wans't able to defende as good. (I am not an advanced player..maybe intermediate at most)

A 3U at900t is probably good, but I find the yellow ti-10 to be really light with slight headheavyness, which may also suit your style of play.

hmmm..no comments on Arc 10? I like the red colour, and new technologies inside it. I don't know whether that will make me a better player =P

At900T seems to be best for you. Ive had both the 3u and 4u and having the 4u seemed pointless because the racket is light enough and having it any lighter just decreased power. So go with 3u =] + its more durable XD

ssoh5, i have tested ti-10 (2nd generation, colour:yellow, white, black) n at900t 3u n holded the arc10 3u at the pro shop. i think u shud consider either ti-10 (2nd generation) n at900t coz u like to smash n this 2 weapon is reli ideal for smashing. at900t is slightly heavier than ti-10 but its design is very unique that its swing speed is as fast as ti-10. if u think at900p is heavy, arc 10 is certainly not for u coz it's heavier. ti-10 3rd generation (purple) is not suitable for u too coz it's lighter than the 2nd generation, which is not good for smashing

^i'm biased for ti-10 because the defensive abilities are better, and power can always be trained =P...although i do have to admit, the at900t has some kick to it...

I want to compare these exact same rackets, haha. I want a racket to use specifically for singles, though I play doubles as well. I wouldn't want to spend too much, though, as I have other non-badminton related items to purchase. I like to smash when I can, but I also enjoy playing at the net. I would definitely want more power, but also adequate control.

I'm still unsure as to which generation of the Ti-10 would be the best combination of both, as I've read mixed reviews of the 2nd vs 3rd generations.

    More wrist? Ti-10.

    More arm? AT900T.

Personally, I moved from the AT series into the Ti-10 (yellow) recently and the Ti-10 has shown me all the flaws which the head-heavy AT500 had originally masked. It's forced me to use my wrist more, but that's a good thing. In fact, I can use the AT more effectively now since my wrist is much more involved.

If you're already a wrist player, the Ti-10 is a gem!

hey nummertwente, u know where i can pick up a Ti-10 in toronto, it sounds like a good racquet to train the wrist, ill probably get an AT900 T after that though, and which one do u prefer?

If you have Paypal, then send a PM to Ar Dan and he'll hook you up nicely. No paypal, then check out Yo's in Markham. They had two 3UG4 last week, I THINK the price was $160 incl strings, but don't hold me to that. Otherwise, check out www.mjstrings.ca

Never used the AT900T, but from feel and specs, they are different racquets. Both have aerodynamic frames, but the AT900T is more head-heavy. I think the AT900T is slightly stiffer too.
