    Jacky Chen emailed me about his coming tournament. Some of you might be interested to take part in it.

    Conditions of Entry
    1. All players playing and submitting entries for the tournament will be deemed to have read and accepted the conditions under which the competition events are to be conducted. By participating in the tournament you expressly agree that the organisers will not be liable for any injuries/ losses suffered, however they may be caused and regardless of any negligence on the part of any tournament organise or venue.
    2. The Tournament will be conducted in accordance with the Laws of Badminton (B.W.F.) except where modified by these conditions or the Tournament Program.
    3. Each player must submit an individual entry form. Every player is allowed to enter maximum 3 events in his/her own grade plus 1 event in the higher grade. The Tournament Committee reserves the right to reject or re-grade any entry and shall have entire control and management of the Tournament. Note: “E” Grade is for beginners and starters and junior U16 with little playing experiences.
    4. Players who have achieved semi or final in the previous tournaments might be allocated to next Grade up.
    5. No entries will be accepted without the requisite entry fee. Fees are non-refundable.
    6. Single’s event starts at 9am follow by doubles and mixed doubles. “E” Grade is allocated on both SAT and SUN. Players MUST be registered 20min prior to their starting. Trophies/ Prizes will only be presented at the end of each day.
    7. New rally scoring system with 15pts per set Best of 3 sets with NO DEUCE will be used for all matches. Players will change end after each set and change end at 8pts when the match taken to the 3rd set. 2min break are given between each set.
    8. Players who lost the previous game on the court must be prepared to umpire the next game happening on the same court; Or umpire the game when requested to.
    9. Should it be necessary to merge grades (eg as a result of insufficient entries or insufficient time for matches), the Tournament Committee will endeavour to organise matches in a manner deemed to be fair, and prizes may be altered accordingly.
