One of the only 2 shops in Penang uses Victor 7027 Electronic stringing machine and exthree manual machine
highly experience stringer.Prices seems reasonable generally more than 10% discount racquets like Yonex, wilson, victor,RSL,fisher and others.
Strings are a bit dear, about RM2 extra but you get some 30 different strings to choose from.
Larger variety of shoes like asic, yonex and victor.

Location : Off macalister Rd, behing masjid pakistan.
    Shop name : Finn Sports
Person in charge : Finn aka ah chuan ex national player.
Sells cheaper racquet like apacs , ashaway, prince, fisher. All apacs are buy1 get 1 free, most stuff are good really values.(espicially shoes)
Huge stock of apacs apparel and cheaper shuttle cocks about RM2-3 for RCL brand.
Strings are probably cheapest in Georgetown but machines about outdated.

Location : same rd as Finn about 5 houses further down
Shop name : Teong sports (big sign board you cant missed it)
    Person in charge : Teong
Bought 2 of his own brand rackets long time ago, didnt like it so never been back. Not sure how it is now.

    Location : macalister, opp BSN
    Shop name : Creative Sports
    Person in charge : N/A
One of the only 2 shops that use electronic stringing machine.
Sell some value for $ racket like Vomino and high end Yonex JP version. Not sure about prices never bought anyting yet.

I always go to Creative sports for restringing and buying new racquets. they have very good services and good quality racquets and strings.
It is owned by a businessman from Hong Kong. He has his own brand, Viva and Vomino. Both quite alright brands in Hong Kong market.

Hmm...I frequently visit this shop, and I had bought two badminton rackets from there. AT 300 and Viva Vi-arc110 (clone of arcsaber10). Price is reasonable. Be a member, then you can get a discount. Even you can trade in your old / broken rackets here. Viva and domino products (clone of AT and arcsaber) are just great. Good quality and performance, and cheaper. Have a try!!

Hi, not sure about Creative at town, but i had bad experience with Creative bayan baru, the sales girl bad service, i walk in to try out their service, the sales girl dint even say anything and ask what i want, i stand there wander around in the small shop and then only ask her about stringing myself..that also she showing me a blank face. zzzz...since need to send to town for stringing and i cant wait for so many days, plus not being serve as a customer. i walked away and go to Add-one which is just a few shop next door.

the shop on macalister road in town had friendly and helpful staff when i was back in penang in december. was always called 'tow kay' when i was there, which is kinda awkward but at least the service was good.

the time it takes to string a racquet is a bit longer than most though, about 3 days, i suspect this was because they were having a promotion at the time, rm15 for bg65 strung using an electronic stringing machine. very good deal.
