Stuart Gomez still holding No 1 Spot for Australia for Olympics... so far Stuart Gomez is still ahead of Jeff Tho in the race to be the Australian sole Men's Singles representative at the Bejing Olympics. Revenge For Gomez In Canada REVENGE FOR GOMEZ IN CANADA 24.04.08 12:07 Age: 6 days Stuart Gomez ranked 76 in the world at the moment 36 places behind the number one Oceania player, John Moody, beat him this week in Canada at the Atwater International Challenge 21-17, 21-7 Stuart Gomez, Australia's number one mens singles player has been training with the players from the BWF World Training Centre in Saarbrucken and recently flew to Canada to meet the other Australian's to play in the Atwater Canadian International. Stuart met John Moody in the second round but reversed the result from the recent Oceania Championships to beat John 21-17, 21-7. He now plays Carl Baxter from England in the next round.
