Hi there, I managed to get hold on a new ArcSaber10 2U/G5 in the black and white colored demo version, which was given to some pros for testing it during the thomas&uber-cup preliminaries before the racket was officially released to the main public in the red & white colored version. I bought it via eBay from someone who got the rackets from a national player during the european prelims in the netherlands. I'm not a collector but I thought that I could make some collectors happy and just would like to resell it now, if somebody is interested. I would like to sell it for 140 € (shipping not included). The racket comes in a 2U/G5 version with plasting wrapping still around the handle (on the pics there is just a white overgrip over it) but without racket-bag. The racket was strung with white Yonex BG-80 on 12kg for testing but the frame is still in mint like new condition. Insured shipping to all EU destinations will cost 17 €, to US / Canada 32 € and 37 € to all other destinations.
He bought it off ebay and the seller got it from a national player. He's just selling it on to a collector. How much do I wish to have one of these... not enough $$$, and still, naaah...
beautiful racket~~~ my color style: black and white. can't seems to find any racket with only black and white color.
Just A Word Of Caution Er, are you sure this won't lead to any trouble? Demo racquets or prototypes are supposed to be returned by the tester to the manufacturer for post-test R&D examination and analyses. Even if it breaks during the trial, the racquet is to be returned so that the R&D team can investigate the pieces for weaknesses. Unless the manufacturer gave the tester the demo racquet for keeps, this 'national player' might get into trouble with the sponsor. The second scenario is worse. Unless you are absolutely sure that the someone-on-eBay acquired it legitimately from the 'national player', you might have large cause for worry. You see, that national player might have reported this racquet as 'missing' PS: This is not intended to scare away potential buyers If the process is right, this would indeed be a great collector's item.
was peter gade using this racquet in the european team championship? coz it looks like it... btw the racquet does look sic.... it would be nice as a collection item...but damn the price..
Wish I could have the $$ to buy this as this looks awesome! But I can't justify spending $100 more than the regular arc10...
Hmmm.. i would not sell them though. But it is a choice of the person who is having it. He can choose to sell it since personally i think the racket that is offered here has gone thru few hands i assume. If the 1st person who pass the racket to whoever is a commoner.. he might get into trouble if Yonex find out. Anyway the picture is here and the SERIAL is here too.. its easy to track it anyway. Good luck. But since its being offered here.. its a good opportunity to buy it since its Rare. I'm not endorsing it of course. But its a free world.
Hey guys, thanks for your comments. I hope I won't get in any trouble. I'm sorry for the high price, but the problem is the high € in the moment. The normal ArcSaber is listed for over 200€ and actually selling for 160€ in the stores here in Germany, so 140€ is quite a reasonable offer (for somebody from Germany). oli
