I prefer Mizuno shoes, very lasting. YONEX brand tends to wear out easily.

    Thanks.

I have not tried ASICS. Basically, the YONEX shoes worn out within 3 months (especially at the side). Whereas the MIZUNO lasted more than 1 whole year...

    Thanks.

I have tried the Asics Gel Blade, which offer very good grip and cushioning. IMO they are also harder wearing than the Yonex shoes I had previously,, which wore out in 6 months. I have also tried Asics Rocket, which are also good, but not as grippy as the Blade.:)

I'd have to go with Mizuno too, even though they're mostly designed for volleyball. I find the grip not that great through, the shoe itself lasts awhile. With my shoes, I had to keep washing with cold water to get rid of the dust.

Im using a pair of Nike indoor court shoes, not for basketball. The tread on those are insane, no maintenance required, cheap too, $50. 6 months so far, hardly any wear away on the tread of my right heel.

yeah carltex, how much is the the shoes and where did you buy them? i want to try asics for quite a while now but i have not seen it in ipoh. have to go to KL i think but i dont know where in KL. hopefully can find ones made for squash since those are better suitable for badminton compared to the ones made for volleyball. :)

i wear mizuno (badminton ones, not volleyball ones) and they are very very grippy. and lasts long too. i have had it for nearly six months and they still look good and feel good. better now that i have added sports insoles. i would like to try the higher ends ones but i never find those. just the lower ends ones like wave gate II or wave gate III.

The volleycross shoes look quite like.. running shoes or cross-trainers.

Any reviews on the Gel-Blast ? These shoes look so cool..
