i saw it in victor ranges. their latest 1 is really nice but i am wondering what kind of a difference does it makes from the any other rackets
just my 2 cents... maight be the bridges are there to absorb vibrations? as i can see the grommets are made from one piece...and looks rubbery... o well..just my 2 cents.. =)
I think this type of 'bridge' design comes from the tennis rackets for shock absobance. I don't know if it is useful for badminton rackets. There have been various of these 'shock absorbing designs', mostly the the 3 and 9 o'clock region and some at the T-junction like this one. Some old ProKennex and Prince rackets may have these features.
The racket speaks! I suppose it would just hinder people who like to make trick shots with that lower portion of the racket.
Oh haha.. use some stencil ink stuff to draw eyes and a nose, and maybe a mastache.. and the bridge can be the mouth.
or INCREASE IT! because you'll most likely hit that area if you're not paying attention, doing something wrong, or just want to because it'll react differently. I wonder if BWF will outlaw this in a tourney or not.
