double-bridge racket

    i saw it in victor ranges. their latest 1 is really nice but i am wondering what kind of a difference does it makes from the any other rackets

    just my 2 cents...
    maight be the bridges are there to absorb vibrations? as i can see the grommets are made from one piece...and looks rubbery...

    o well..just my 2 cents.. =)

    I think this type of 'bridge' design comes from the tennis rackets for shock absobance. I don't know if it is useful for badminton rackets. There have been various of these 'shock absorbing designs', mostly the the 3 and 9 o'clock region and some at the T-junction like this one. Some old ProKennex and Prince rackets may have these features.

    The racket speaks! I suppose it would just hinder people who like to make trick shots with that lower portion of the racket.

    Oh haha.. use some stencil ink stuff to draw eyes and a nose, and maybe a mastache.. and the bridge can be the mouth. :D

    or INCREASE IT! because you'll most likely hit that area if you're not paying attention, doing something wrong, or just want to because it'll react differently. I wonder if BWF will outlaw this in a tourney or not.
