The Yonex Factory provides the new stringing pattern to go with the new ISO style rackets. Using the old pattern is like playing badminton using the old rules. They were changed for a reason. I dont know why the factory changed the pattern but I got the same information that Dream Hai got from the factory when I bought my stringer. Does anyone know why it was changed? The factory provided the pattern but no explanations. I have a feeling that the old pattern was designed for the oval shape head and stringers are just slow to adjust to the new pattern. Here in Vietnam the stringers are 90% still using the old pattern. Also 90% of the racket breakage is at the top corners. I wonder if the stringing pattern combined with not adding tension to the cross strings would cause an undue number of top corner breaks?
