I also note that there is a men double player from china that use spin serve, unfortunately its already banned...its around 80's

    no , u are wrong ...
that spin serve was created by the sidek brothers and its called a spin serve or S-serve..
and unfortunately its already been banned by BWF because they said it will spoil the shuttle

I think tricky moves could boost badminton marketing,
so that it will be more popular.. anyone agree?

China's Wu Dixi, 1982 WD All England winner, was feared for her service. It then nearly made the game a farce with virtually unplayable backhand spin-serves. The shuttle swerved late-and fully two feet. I saw her play many times at a time when such serves were not considered a fault. It was served with the base or cork up, not down as it is done today.

Back to topic... Peter Gade is my choice. Or Lin Dan's triple dive shot retrieving technique
Nope, i believe korean line judges beat LYB hands down on crude and blatant creativity.

LOL... Korean line judges are pretty cool in my opinion. If it wasn't because of them, world of badminton would have never witness the one and only flying AT700 incident.

Taufik gets my vote. Lin Dan may be more consistent, but Taufik is sure as hell more interesting to watch.

I don't if the Indonesian have the most creative/innovative style, but Taufik and Sigit are the fanciest players there is.

Is it completely illegal to spin the shuttle when serving? I usually slice downwards slightly just upon contact with the shuttle when short serving, it keeps it low to the net. It's not a big swing though..
