yup... one thing you forgot... bought racket at modern sports.. Mr David won't allow to string immediately for you. you need to wait or take another trip to collect your racket... but if i go to KD, it will string for me immediately or most i need to wait around 1 hour. i can go nearby to have a drink and wait. or stay in his shop with is air condition to wait...

at modern sports.. you need to travel another trip that cost you time, petrol.....and do remember, even modern sports can string immediately for you, you only can stand infront of his counter without touching others racket waiting him.... there is the different xD is like people like to wait at coffee shop with music and air consdition rather than at restaurant without air condition...

They even show me they have more at the back. At least AJ hv stock wen there are promotion and not juz marketing gimmicks, waste of petrol and went hm empty handed.

As far as i know, sp lee (now alr moved to kuchai lama for sometime) does not do anything like 40-50% off. And his 'out of stock and then in stock and out stock' also does not happen like MS. And sp lee also can string u half a dozen of racket if u choose on spot. SP lee has 2 full time stringers (one indon lady, but AJ also has foreign worker as stringer). Our uncle david only string himself. And yes, im too frustating with his on and off promotion but he anytime will sell u 35% of at least whter his crazy promotion is on or not.

Back to AJ. I respect this shop, their prices are consistent. Never promote one day and off the other day.
But his two nearby shops RW and RZ give equally good price, and you may not agree, better stringing job. RZ has lesser higg end racket stock.

i agree that, too many people complaint AJ string at very high tension, one of my friend bought NS9900 from AJ, and first time before he use the racket... the outer lawyer of the string also came out....

All their stringing are done by digital machine and adviced by us. Guess those ppl not sure what tension they are playing guaaa

In additional, there are always so many ppl go there for stringing, so believe not AJ stringing problem

Since you're staying in KL, I would suggest you try at Pertama Complex @ Jalan TAR... a few shop there... try at Racket world , lots of choice there...

Thats exactly the same for me on 2 occasions Alanwong76! Wanted a voltric80 last month, went to MS twice, called twice, left number twice. David ask to call back next week, and again no stock and each time I head there I have ALWAYS missed a massive promotion.. I ask KD and AJ bout those promos, but they've never done them, which begs the questions, how come they don't have em although they sell reasonably high quantities of Yonex'es (I would assume) too?? Pretty fed up with all that bs, ran all the way to AJ, he's got heaps of em, and it's around standard discounts ended up at around 550 with BG66 ultimaxs. No drama.

Ok, maybe MS could've given me 50 bucks plus off, but hey, David hasn't called back; and it's been around 2 months since. No hate, but just my experience from it all.
