for sale: mizuno tetracross 700 2u/g5, with yy nbg98, strung at 28 lbs. Racket is pretty much 'as new', used for 5 hours, no chip at all. Can post pics if required. Price: £45 shipped within uk. For other destinations, £45 + shipping. Paypal accepted.
Can you state the reason why you're selling it ? Is it because maybe you have too many racquets or something ? Or is there something bad/faulty about it ? I'm interested in buying one, but I need many different peoples' opinions first.. :S
Information update: 1, shipping costs to any country other than UK will be £18.99. 2, I'm selling this racket because I hurt my knees recently, and I don't plan to use such a stiff racket in the near future. 3, This racket is in perfect condition, no faulty/chip/scratches at all. The grip is still in pure white now. I haven't changes this overgrip tape since I got this racket, which is also a proof that I didn't use this racket often. 4,This is a old model Tetracross 700. That's the reason why I am selling it in such a low price. Apparently Mizuno is not Yonex yet. 5, I ship the racket with a Yonex Titanium series racket bag, for extra protection. If you prefer the original Mizuno cotton bag, let me know. Here are some pictures:
just to add a bit (i'm a busybody): TC700 is a stiff racket, with a B/P of approx 292mm. the frame is very sturdy, capable of taking 28lbs(although manufacturer's specs says 20-25lbs). sweet spot for this racket is slightly enlarged compared to Muscle Power Series. long handle for those with big hands.
NBG98 provide more repulse than BG80. So even at 28 lbs, you can still get enough re-bounce power from the string. And, since NBG 98 is pretty thin, it won't take you a long time before you broke the string. You can then restring the racket with any strings at any tension according to your preference.
I don't know. I've been using the same set of BG 80 for a year or two and have yet to see any fraying. BTW, how quick is the shipping service you're planning to use? What is the overgrip?
Ok, well I was pondering on getting a purple Ti-10, but I suppose this is a deal I'll probably miss if I don't make my decision. Can you put my purchase on pending? I'll likely be able to pay later today.
Delivery time depends on where you are located. But they claim that for common cases, it will take 4-5 business days. Overgrip is Yonex AC102. Compared to purple ti-10, TC700 has stiffer shaft and heavier head, so please do bear that in mind. If you'd like to buy, please reply this thread and I'll lock it.
