I'm using AVG7.5, AdAware Professional, Spysweeper, AVG Anti-spyware.. AVG7.5 is good for finding trojans and malwares. AdAware is for deleting tracking cookies/spywares and the rest.. same thing.
KASPERSKY ANTIVIRUS. TRIPLE PROTECTION AGAINST CURRENT AND FUTURE INTERNET THREATS. Protection From Viruses, Trojans, Worms, Spyware and Adware, Rootkits & Keylogger. But my computer still get infected and formatted recently....
i'm using a combination of AVG for antivirus, Ad-aware and Spybot to remove all the trackers and Avast for internet security. thinking of upgrading to AVG 8.0 Pro for the full package
Spyware Doctor and the line of products from PC Tools are supposed to be highly rated. Norton does an ok job, I suppose. I have read about Nod32, but I haven't seen many high ratings for the program. I've heard more about Kapersky and BitDefender being among the best.
What does "good" mean? Good == Never get infected? If someone can tell how "good" it is, that help us choose. I'm looking for another anti-virus program also. I don't like the one I'm using because when it does an auto disk scan, it takes up 90% CPU time and make my laptop very slow. Even my laptop was never infected, I can't stand it slows down my laptop for 1 or 2 hours.
