Park Sung Hwan beat Chen Jin for ABC crown (pics)

Korean MS Park has defeated a number of top class players in his career, including world no.1 Lin Dan, but probably has not won any major title until today. Though seeded 7 against Chen Jin's 4 in this tournament, he played exceedingly well and would have won much faster than the 46 minutes he had to endure.

In the semi-finals, Park had a much more difficult match with Sony Kuncoro whom he defeated in 3 games whereas CJ received a free gift from Lin Dan to ensure that he remains world no.4 and a chance to play in the Beijing Olympics alongside his China compatroits, Lin Dan and Bao Chunlai.

Towards the end of the second game, Park was leading much ahead (more than 5 points at the interval) but was too eager to finish CJ off and almost paid the price when CJ pressured him to regain 18 points, the same as in the first game. Park was much relieved when CJ hit out on the deciding point. First he knelt on the mat and seemed to pray to the gods for his victory. Then he ran to his coach to hug him before he returned to the court to shake hands with the umpire and CJ.

didnt see li mao, is he only coaching LHI?
KOR should make use of li mao in the OG or TC. When china plays KOR, have li mao seat on the kor side and that would make the chinese nervous and edgy
