Default Yonex Water Fit Grip (AC145EX)

I tried the water fit grip on my ARC10 today. Interesting feeling. It feels comfortable and feel like cloth while I was putting it on. However when I grip the handle, it feel between velvet and leather. It is not as soft as Yonex SuperGrap. However, the feedback is superb! It does not slip and absorb sweat (I have very sweaty hands) very good. Since it is first time I used it, I do not know the durability of the grip. I will update more as I get more playing time with it...
And do not look to this grip to take out vibration.

I tried it as well and it's not bad but the price is the same as a roll of 3 for the AC-102 overgrap. Too expensive so it isn't really recommended if you are on a budget.

Agree, that is why I do not know the durability of it. Will report later.

No, not yet, I usually do not try any thing that does not fall off the blue and green truck.

there are 2 types of the clean grip. AC146 and AC147. They are both the same right?

Should be. One of them just has three instead of one.

    Hello!
Sorry for bumping an old thread but I have the same problem as the first poster, very sweaty hands.
Before the AC145EX, I tried another grip (I can't remember the name), but it didn't solve my problem. It did indeed absorb sweat, but even though it did the grip went slippery.
Thus, I switched to the AC145EX. As I asked the shopkeeper what was so special about it, he told me that without water or sweat it wouldn't be effective at all. Players who uses this grip often dip their grips into water before playing. Well, it sounds good if you have to go as far as dipping your racket into water for full effect.

I've only played with it for one day though but so far I've come up with:
    1. Only sweaty palms isn't enough for the grip to become 100% effective. I sweat quite a lot and the grip soaks up most of it, yes, however the grip didn't reach it's full potential until...
    2. I tried the water version. I socked the grip in water and what I got was a grip that was beyond my imagine. The feeling is weird, but it works excellent as a grip. However...
    3. Once dried up, the grip loses it's effect. When completely dry, it feels like clothing (someone already mention that feeling).

So if you want the full effect you need to have VERY VERY sweaty hands or soak it in water. And from this, we might see a problem. What do one do about the wooden grip? I mean, soaking it in water can't be that good for the grip in the long run. I do let it dry after everytime I use it but still... Either you would probably have to water proof it or just skip the AC145EX and go for something else (and then the sweaty hand is a problem again).

    Any thoughts?
