broken shaft :(
Hi guys, just wana share with you my experience tonight. I was playing a recreational game and i was using my usual favourite Apacs Nano9000Speed racket and when i did a back hand, it the shaft(around 1 inch above the handle cone), shattered and it flew a few meters away. i was there stunned, still holding the handle.
I have a few of the same racket and its the first time i encounter this. i guess its just bad luck. PS the racket has never had any hard clash and is still less than a year old. luckily its dirt cheap...imagine the yonex nano9000 broke into 2!!

Hey "Final Decision", I wonder how you broke the shaft. Did you sit on it or put some weights on it and damaged the shaft?

yeah, it was pretty much brand new. no clash history at all. just a few smashing session before the match and just got seperated like transformers+ a loud crack. everyone in the hall are looking at me, stunned there, still dolding the handle. lol
the racket was in perfect shape man. the paintwork is spotless. but woooo, get to see whats inside the shaft...interesting.

Hehe, The Apacs NS9k Is a fine, fine racket, quite a beast. Glad you're sticking with it.
I've had one break too, but that was when my partner went for a mighty backhand after I'd hit the shuttle on my forehand... I was annoyed about it, but it showed something quite interesting when his Yonex MP99 broke in three places and My Apacs cracked a litte across the head,... and kept playing on it for the rest of the game, smashing an' all!
Great racket
and for the reason above,... VERY durable!

yeah. im quite pleased with n9ks. quality, refined and well balanced. not gona risk me or anyone on the court when using a cracked racket cos you never know where the tiny pieces are heading towards at.
anyway, time to look for a new one! maybe edgesaber7, 10 or visible hollow? or all of them? lol
