...no cryin' in badminton....I don't think you'll see the Nigerian team crying with them being in the same group as CHN & Canada..:) ;)

So much for KOR skipping out their singles player.
Should be an interesting week, inline with the tradition of TC :)

It'd be interesting if they chose to send ZL instead of Zhang Ning to play in the Olympics.

Korean only sending 8 players for TC finals? I wonder why they did not send Park Sung Min or Park Tae Sang(does he retired) in MS ?

Yeah, all Thomas Cup frontrunners bring 10 players (maximum quota) except KOR. Looks like KOR has high confidence with their materials and no surprise if KOR will produce a new scratch pair on TUC match. Let's see whether Park Sung Hwan or Lee Hyun Il will take part into men's doubles match...

From China squad, it's time for Zhang Ning to prepare her retirement. Surprise, LYB named Gao Ling/Zhao Tingting not world number two Du Jing/Yu Yang.

I'm quite surprised that Bjorn Joppien isn't playing for Germany. Any info anyone? Sorry if I'm missing something.

CHN can still win even without XXF and ZN.

Zhang Ning has secured her place in Beijng Olympic. She needs more rest...

For me...its not surprise that KOR send only 8 players......they have proven they can just pair any of their players to form a strong double pair....even PSH ..is capable to play in double.............

KOR is a team to watch in this TC........

if one of the Korean MD players get injured, they are in serious trouble. They can either get one of the singles players to play and sit out, letting Ji Hoon play MS3, or get one of their singles players play TWO matches...
