    Hi milkycarton!

Are you currently playing at any clubs or any leagues? I play at a couple of clubs, both based in Rubery and there is a varying standard, but you would always get good games.

If you wanted to come down to the club nights then you would be more than welcome. These are the websites for the clubs www.frankleybats.co.uk and www.xdcbc.co.uk

    Hope that helps you!

the club at XDC is quite similar, although its not on this weekend because of the bank holiday.

The badminton season has just finished, so the numbers are up and down on club night, but hopefully there will be a good number of people there through the summer. So have you been playing with just mates recently?

Were always on the lookout for new members anyway, its always good to play different people!

If its any easier and you want to know anything, then my hotmail address is paulrussell96@hotmail.co.uk

Also if you know anyone else thats interested in playing, the more the merrier!

hey, no problem. The two clubs are pretty similar, a fairly good standard in each. friendly people, and also competitive and leagues too. Im always keen to get more people involved, so would be good if you wantd to come down.

The club isnt on this coming Sunday due to Bank holiday, but every other week it will be.

My hotmail address is paulrussell96@hotmail.co.uk if you want any more info.

Oh, and if you have any mates or know anyone who fancies comin down, the more the merrier!

    Thanks :D

    Hi,

Im 21, I live in Harborne Birmingham... do you guys know anywhere reasonably close to play?

I'm not really looking to get heavily back into the competition side, but just something fun, something social, something to do & keep fit a bit.

I used to be pretty good, and I got offered a place on the Birmingham team thingy at one point (14/15yrs old I think - whatever! Cant remember now) - but right as that happened it was exams time and I sorta drifted away from the sport and got hooked on skydiving instead... But im back in england now, the weather is lousy for skydiving, so time to pickup the indoor sports again! Although now im outta school, its not so easy to get back into the whole sports scene.

So am a bit stuck... Any ideas?

With these club nights, do you just turn up, pay your thing and crack on?

    Thanks for your help,
    Rich

    Badminton partner wanted

    Hi Rich,

I am in Harborne too, and looking for a badminton partner. My age is twice as yours though... but I played in the past 8 years and now I am at advanced/competition level. At the University (of Birmingham) we have courts to play just I need to book it and get a partner. Let me know if you are interested (or anyone else). I wish to play 2-3 time a week.

    Thanks,
    Attila

    lol yes this monday!

your best bet is to either ring them or to get a recorded delivery and send it tomorrow.

I only sent my form today 1st class, so hoping it will get there in time.
