Im looking for a new racket similar to it but I really don't want to buy it again because its pretty expensive... Does anyone have any recommendations? IT would be cool to try something other than Yonex.
it is really bad how I broke it. I got really excited because my stroke has been really off for awhile and I finally got it back and then when I was warming up I swung really really fast and my grip was too loose I guess and it flew out of myhand into the ground... That spot seems to be wehre most MP 99 break though even though I didn't do it by hitting hard... I'm a pretty offensive player and i'm an intermediate player. I really like the idea of a non-yonex racket
ouch, sorry to hear that :| by the way you said it look like it break at where most other MP99 break, but I think any racket will break when you swing really fast and into the ground especially when you string it at uber high tension.
Depending on your budget I am willing to sell my mp99, since it is near mint condition I will sell it high, but far cheaper than any US store. My racket is US coded and strung with bg 80 at 23 pounds. Used only several times until I realized it was not the right one for me. I live in the bay area too, so PM me if interested.
Sorry yea the thing is I paid 180 for it, and it basically still in brand new condition so I guess I can sell it but what is ur budget?
actually...I think I'm going to buy the STOX Woven 11. The power review on that thing sounds so amazing...
is the muscle power limited just as fragile as the mp99? i saw muscle power limited on mybadmintonstore at a very good price. it seems different from the paint scheme but the specs look the same. is it worth the 115 to invest in one?
I hear it is somewhat different from the mp99, it is not a replica. So most people say it is not worth it. Try wingeesports.com, mp99 is only 110.
hey.. i broke mine a few months back too and its at the same location as yours.. but eventually, they replace it with another pair
